Pursuant to a joint effort by the U.S. Department of State and the Immigration Service, for a temporary time (probably only October 2015) the family and employment cut off dates have been accelerated. This is the same window of opportunity which we alerted everyone about last week regarding Registered Nurses. Please see the link below to the USCIS announcement and note that all adjustment applications can be filed if the priority date is BEFORE the date listed on the chart. Also note that the applicant must also be admissible to the United States and eligible for adjustment of status in the first place. Finally, it does not matter when the application for adjustment is filed in October as long as it is filed that month.
